DREAM A DREAM

I've made a few big decisions lately; one of those decisions was to launch Kimberly Diamond Music. I said to myself, "it's time to give the universe everything you have, it's time to give away your love." Now don't get it twisted, the process of launching a business with the product being myself is daunting to difficult and everything in between, but I'm made of magic and there's really nothing clever enough to stop me ;). I liken my affair with realizing this dream to finding true love: I can't eat, I can't sleep, and it's ALWAYS on my mind. The very reason I'm not sleeping right now. And you know what? I thought I'd be afraid, and I am, but I've never been so sure about anything, ever. The tracks are recorded, the master is in progress. The photos are taken, the branding is under way. The band is hired, choreography is being learned. The wheels on my bus go round and round and my excitement builds like Dubai on crack, haha. These last six months have whipped me, chained me, kissed me and caressed me. I've smiled my biggest smile, laughed my loudest laugh, cried my wettest tears and learned that there is freedom in risk and uncertainty, if you can live for the moment and give away your heart. Dream a dream/ It will come true/ As long as it/ Is good for you/ Dream a dream/ And have the heart/ To see it/ End to start.
